Tenuta Prima Pietra

Tenuta Prima Pietra, located on the Tuscan coast near Riparbella, sits at 450 meters above sea level and is the highest point on the coast. The vineyard benefits from Mediterranean scrub, cypress trees, and organic or biodynamic practices. With full sun exposure and cooling sea breezes, the vines thrive, producing wines with a great temperature balance.
Led by winemaker Cecilia Leoneschi, the estate focuses on sustainable practices and meticulous care for each vine. The soil, rich in skeleton, iron clays, and minerals, adds complexity and aromatic depth to the wines, while its depth provides an essential water reserve for ripening in drier months.
Prima Pietra
The 2019 vintage offers complexity and freshness, thanks to its high-altitude vineyards. The nose features red berry aromas with subtle spices, while the palate is complex, with soft, dense, and velvety tannins.
