Painted Rock Winery
Skaha Bench, Okanagan Valley
Painted Rock Estate Winery is a family-owned and operated winery committed to producing some of Canada’s finest wines from a single estate vineyard in the Okanagan Valley. Focused on crafting ultra-premium, terroir-driven wines, their portfolio features both bold single-varietal reds and the signature Bordeaux-style blend, Red Icon.
Founded in 2004 by John and Trish Skinner, the winery was envisioned as a lasting family legacy. They selected a 56-acre west-sloping site in Penticton, British Columbia, for its exceptional growing conditions. The name "Painted Rock" pays tribute to 500-year-old Indigenous pictographs found near the property. Today, the estate is known for its dedication to quality and its expression of the unique character of the Okanagan terroir.
