Domaine Tortochot
Gevrey Chambertin, Côte de Nuits
Domaine Tortochot is a family-run winery located in Gevrey-Chambertin, a village in the Burgundy region of France, known for producing some of the world’s best Pinot Noir wines. The estate is in the Côte de Nuits area, which is part of the famous Côte d'Or, a stretch of land ideal for growing grapes thanks to its limestone-rich soils and cool climate. Gevrey-Chambertin is especially prized for powerful yet elegant red wines, and Domaine Tortochot farms vineyards in some of the village’s most respected sites, including Premier and Grand Cru plots.
The Tortochot family has been making wine in this region since the early 1900s, and the domaine is now run by Brigitte Tortochot, who has modernized the winery while respecting its traditions. In recent years, she has converted the vineyards to organic farming, aiming to make wines that reflect the purity of the land. With a focus on quality and a deep connection to their terroir, Domaine Tortochot has earned a strong reputation for producing classic, expressive Burgundy wines that age beautifully.
