Domaine d’Ardhuy
Ladoix, Côte de Beaune
Domaine d’Ardhuy began in 1930 when Pierre André arrived in Burgundy during the Depression and started building a vineyard alongside a négociant business. In 1947, Gabriel Liogier d’Ardhuy was hired as an agricultural engineer and oenologist to oversee the vineyard and winemaking operations. During the harvest that year, Gabriel met Eliane, Pierre André’s eldest daughter, and they married in 1948.
Their marriage marked the beginning of what is now Domaine d’Ardhuy. The estate spans both the Côte de Nuits and Côte de Beaune and includes prestigious vineyard holdings. Gabriel and Eliane had seven daughters, who inherited their parents’ passion for viticulture. Today, the sisters carry on the family legacy, committed to sustainable practices and the expression of terroir in their wines.

Savigny-les-Beaune 1er Cru ‘Aux Clous’
2022 | $89.00 per bottle | case of 6
"Dark ruby with a youthful purple hue. Youthful nose displaying new oak, ripe red fruit, rose petal and pain d´épice. Dense palate, yet rounded with grainy tannin and a fresh acidity giving lift to the sweet fruit, still some oak presence but good purity of fruit with nice density and length." - Andreas Larsson
