Domaine Bertrand Bachelet

Dezizes-lès-Maranges, Côte de Beaune

Bertrand Bachelet, the fourth generation in a family of Burgundy winegrowers, took over the estate from his father Jean-Louis in 2011. He now oversees 13 hectares of vineyards stretching from Maranges to Pommard in the Côte de Beaune, with the estate based in the heart of the Maranges appellation and the core of its production.

Committed to preserving family tradition while embracing modern viticulture, Bertrand focuses on expressing the character of each terroir through careful vineyard work and low-intervention winemaking. All vineyard tasks, from pruning to harvest, are done by hand, with great care given to soil health and grape quality. Vinification remains traditional, allowing each wine to reflect the complexity and uniqueness of its origin.
